WHAT TO EXPECT

WHAT TO EXPECT

At Berean Bible Church, we gather as a community of believers seeking to live out the prayer, “In Dublin as it is in Heaven.”

Our services are welcoming and approachable. Come as you are and wear what makes you feel comfortable. We’re a multi-generational church, and you’ll see people of all ages worshiping and growing together.

Easter Sunday includes two of our favorites: Jesus and FOOD with a brunch served at 9:30AM. We’ll also have photo booth, so moms can have that family photo their always asking for (you’ll even get a printed copy to take home with you, too)!

LEADERSHIP

LEADERSHIP

Matt Vanderwarker became the lead pastor of Berean Bible Church in August 2016. He grew up in upstate NY, lived in VT for a few years, before heading off to college and seminary. While in college, he met Deanna, and they were married in 1999. Before coming to Berean, Matt ministered at a local church in the Tidewater area of Virginia, for sixteen years in various capacities. Matt and Deanna have three boys.

As the lead pastor, Matt has the sobering responsibility to weekly preach-teach The glorious King Jesus from the Word of God. He hopes to help all Discover, Demonstrate, and Declare Jesus!

OUR BELIEFS

OUR BELIEFS

At Berean Bible Church, everything we believe starts with the Bible and centers on Jesus. These beliefs shape how we live, love, worship, and serve our neighbors. We hold them with conviction, but also with humility, because faith is meant to be lived out together, not just understood on paper.

Empty Cross. Empty Tomb. Empty Threat of Death.

The Gospel is the declaration of what God has emptied so we could be filled—an empty cross that finished the work, and an empty tomb that proved the Savior is alive. When Jesus walked out of the grave, He left behind not only burial clothes, but every claim death ever had on us. Because the cross is empty, our debt is paid. Because the tomb is empty, our hope is alive. And because death is emptied of its victory, our future is secure.

We look forward to celebrating Easter with you & your family!
