Elders: who are they?
The church family chose David to be an elder in 2019. David serves in shepherding our youngest in children’s discipleship.
Glenn was born in SW Ohio and has lived in Ohio most of his life. He came to faith in Christ as Savior at the age of 16 (many years ago!). Here’s a quick testimony from Glenn: “I wish I could say that everything has been great since then, but life isn’t like that. We still go through trials but through faith in a God and through His grace He will bring us through those trials, and we will be stronger as a result. I am thankful that the Lord led us to Berean Bible Church to worship and fellowship. Being here has helped me to behold Jesus like never before for who He truly is, enjoy Him more each day as I understand and know Him better, and to enjoy pursuing Him more as each day passes.”
As an Elder, he desires to help others at Berean to go through life seeking to know Jesus and draw closer to Him day by day. Glenn and his wife, Teresa, enjoy getting outside to bike, hike, and golf. They especially enjoy spending time with their daughter, son-in-law, and two fun grandchildren.

Matt became the lead pastor of Berean Bible Church in August 2016. He grew up in upstate NY, lived in VT for a few years, before heading off to college and seminary. While in college, he met Deanna, and they were married in 1999. Before coming to Berean, Matt ministered at a local church in the Tidewater area of Virginia, for sixteen years in various capacities. Matt and Deanna have three boys.
As the lead pastor, Matt has the sobering responsibility to weekly preach-teach The glorious King Jesus from the Word of God. He hopes to help all behold, enjoy, and pursue Jesus!
