Where’d we come from?

We started as a small group of people, meeting in homes in the summer of 1973, with a desire to Behold, Enjoy, and Purse Jesus. As we prayed and sought the Lord’s direction, God led us to plant a church in Dublin. We chose the name Berean Bible from Acts 17:11, desiring that the attitude of the Bereans toward the Word of God would be ours as well. Eventually we purchased some land and built a building where our church meets now.

Over the years, God has been gracious to us through various discipleship ministries, church camps, community events, and building projects. While the time, culture, and people have changed, our desire is still the same: for people to Behold, Enjoy, and Pursue Jesus.
