Berean Kids

Our Priorities

The Priority of Safety and Discipleship

We welcome the privilege to care for your children, of any age, and see it as a very serious responsibility. Background and sex-offender checks are required for everyone in any area of Berean’s youth and student ministry.

Because we believe that Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in both the evangelism and discipleship process. You can be confident that your children will have the best care possible from those who have proven character and gifting. Here are areas of discipleship:

Nursery

If parents desire, nurseries are available for infants and toddlers during services, enabling parents to worship, receive instruction, and participate in ministry. Parents can be confident that their children’s needs are being met in a fun, loving, and safe environment.

Lifegroups

Youth Lifegroups for all ages meet together at 9:30, concurrent with adult Lifegroups. These are designed to be an interactive time of bible study, age appropriate activities, and worship in a small group setting. We do not want to train children to merely be familiar with the stories of Noah, Moses, and King David. We want them to be learning to become worshippers of their Lord and Creator from the very start.

Children’s Church

After joining their parents for the first part of our corporate worship gathering, Berean kids (age 4 through the 6th grade) have worship meetings with teaching and activities that have been carefully developed to train kids to learn about God through His Word.  Our curriculum is unique in that it not only helps children to become aware of Biblical stories, but goes to the next important step, which is to help them recognize the God behind the stories.  They will learn what God’s character is like and how they can apply these truths to their own lives. We are committed to loving your children and to teaching them to love and glorify Christ with their lives.

Teenagers

At Berean, we desire to come along side you, the parents, and support you to help your teen behold, enjoy, and pursue Jesus. We encourage our teens to come to a Lifegroup bible study, give of themselves in a ministry like Ronald McDonald House, and enjoy fellowship with other teens. It’s exciting because we are growing, and as we do, so will the discipleship opportunities and activities! To learn more about our Students Ministry, click here
